The fourth annual Department of Chemistry Summer BBQ was held on July 11, 2019.
On a warm July afternoon, the Department of Chemistry community enjoyed the fourth annual department-wide BBQ in the breezy shade of the Walker Lawn. Chemistry students, faculty, and staff were treated to a summery lunch of barbecued meats and veggie burritos, as well as classic side dishes and desserts. The afternoon proved to be a wonderful opportunity to take a break from the day and enjoy one another’s company, in addition to a delicious lunch. This event has become a much anticipated Chemistry tradition, and this year, was supported in part by a Quality of Life grant from the MIT School of Science. Many thanks to all who attended!
