Lippard and Stubbe Honored with Retirement Reception
Professors Stephen J. Lippard and JoAnne Stubbe's recent retirements were celebrated on October 26, 2017.
On Thursday, October 26, 2017, emeritus and current Chemistry faculty gathered in the Moore Room to celebrate the recent retirements of Professor Stephen J. Lippard and Professor JoAnne Stubbe. Guests enjoyed an afternoon reception featuring a Mediterranean-inspired array of hors d’oeurves and a magnificent cake depicting the scenic MIT campus. The event proved to be a wonderful way for the Department to honor the illustrious careers of these newly-minted Emeritus faculty members, and for the current faculty to extend their well-wishes for their colleagues’ much deserved retirements.
