Laura Kiessling Awarded Karl Meyer Lectureship by the Society for Glycobiology

This international award is given annually in recognition of outstanding contributions to the field of Glycobiology.

Laura L. Kiessling, the Novartis Professor of Chemistry, has been selected as the recipient of the 2025 Karl Meyer Lectureship Award by the Society for Glycobiology. This international award was established by the Society for Glycobiology in 1990 to honor the distinguished career of German biochemist Karl Meyer and his outstanding contributions to the field of Glycobiology. The award is presented at the Annual Meeting of the Society to a well-established scientist with a currently active research program who has made widely recognized major contributions to the field of Glycobiology.
