Laura Kiessling wins Ronald Breslow Award for Achievement in Biomimetic Chemistry

This ACS National Award recognizes outstanding contributions to the field of biomimetic chemistry.

Novartis Professor Laura L. Kiessling has been named this year’s winner of the Ronald Breslow Award for Achievement in Biomimetic Chemistry by the American Chemical Society. This national award is given in recognition of outstanding contributions to the field of biomimetic chemistry.

Kiessling, along with the other National Award recipients, will be honored at the awards ceremony on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, in conjunction with the ACS Spring 2023 meeting in Indianapolis.

The Kiessling Group uses chemical biology to elucidate the biological roles of carbohydrates, with a focus on learning new mechanistic concepts.
