Michael Geeson 2019 Reaxys Prize Winner
Michael Geeson of the Cummins Research Group was named one of the three 2019 Reaxys Prize winners
Elsevier, a global information analytics business specializing in science and health, announced the three winners of the 2019 Reaxys PhD Prize at the Reaxys PhD Prize Symposium held in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
Celebrating outstanding research by young chemists across the globe, the Reaxys PhD Prize recognizes innovative and rigorous research in chemistry and associated sciences. 2019 marks the Reaxys PhD Prize’s ninth edition, which received almost 4,000 submissions from over 50 countries.
Selected from this year’s 45 finalists, Michael Geeson of Cummins Research Group and two other winners were awarded on Friday October 4 during the Reaxys Prize Symposium in Amsterdam.
The winners were selected from a group of 10 short-listed finalists, who each gave a 15-minute oral presentation describing the essence of their research. The presentations were judged by the esteemed members of the Reaxys Advisory Board.
