Kit Cummins wins M. Frederick Hawthorne Award in Main Group Inorganic Chemistry

Henry Dreyfus Professor Kit Cummins has been named this year’s winner of the M. Frederick Hawthorne Award in Main Group Inorganic Chemistry by the American Chemical Society. This national award encourages the advancement of inorganic chemistry and promotes the careers of inorganic chemists.

Cummins, along with the other National Award recipients, will be honored at the awards ceremony on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, in conjunction with the ACS Spring 2023 meeting in Indianapolis.

Research in the Cummins group is focused on developing new methods of inorganic synthesis to address a variety of interesting questions.
