The third annual Department of Chemistry Summer BBQ was held on July 11, 2018.
On a beautiful July afternoon, the Chemistry community enjoyed the third annual department-wide BBQ in the breezy shade of the Walker Lawn. Chemistry students, faculty, and staff were treated to a summery lunch of pulled pork, barbecued chicken, ribs, and veggie burgers, as well as classic side dishes and desserts. The afternoon proved to be a wonderful opportuntiy to take a break from the day and enjoy one another’s company, in addition to a delicious lunch. This event has become a much anticipitated Chemistry tradition, and this year, was supported in part by a Quality of Life grant from the MIT School of Science. Many thanks to all who attended!
