Chris Kriofske to receive 2026 Infinite Mile Award
Infinite Mile Awards are given annually by the School of Science in recognition of exceptional staff members.
Chris Kriofske, a Senior Research Administrator on the Department of Chemistry’s Finance Team, has been selected as a recipient of a 2026 Infinite Mile Award from the School of Science.
Infinite Mile Awards are given annually to staff members who go above and beyond to make MIT a better place. The winners are selected from a pool of outstanding researchers and staff who were nominated for their exceptional contributions to the community.
Kriofske, who joined the Chemistry Department staff in 2022, was honored for his extraordinary dedication to the various complex demands of his role. In addition to supervising billing processes and financial operations across many accounts, his work includes leading pre- and post-award research administration, overseeing proposal development workflows, advising the Department of Chemistry community on complex financial and sponsored research matters, and serving as a subject-matter expert on federal regulations and institutional policies.
Infinite Mile Award recipients will receive a monetary award in addition to being honored at a celebratory reception later this spring.
