Proposed Focus Area for ChemFlex

Reviews of proposals for individual ChemFlex focus areas will be completed twice a  year, after the Add Date for each term.

The Fall 2018 deadline is Friday, October 5th and the Spring 2019 deadline is Friday, March 8th.

Proposed Focus Areas for ChemFlex
Please list the proposed subjects for your Elective Focus and include the subject number, title, and number of units. Subjects must be taken for a letter grade. A minimum of 36 units is required and the subjects should form an intellectually coherent unit.
Please describe how these subjects fit together as your elective focus.
Please note that you may not count a subject towards both your elective focus and restricted lecture subjects.

If yes, please provide the following information: the subject number and units for your proposed Lab subject along with your proposed Restricted Elective subjects. Include an explanation that addresses how this lab class fits in with your Restricted Lecture subjects and Elective Focus.
If yes, please provide the following information: list the second major and indicate if it has already been approved by CoC. As a reminder, no more than three subjects for the degree may be counted toward a major in another subject. If you plan to double-count any subjects, please list them.
If yes, please provide the following information: list the minor(s) and state if they have been approved by the other department. As a reminder, no more than two subjects for the degree may be counted toward a minor in another subject. If you plan to double-count any subjects, please list them.
