Salary Distributions and Authorizations

Salary distribution changes can be requested using the Quick Base Salary Distribution Change Request app.

Salary distribution change requests cannot be guaranteed to make the payroll cut-off date unless they are submitted at least 2 days prior to the eSDS Changes Monthly Cutoff date on the VPF HR/Payroll Cutoff Schedule.

Salary distributions can be made directly at the department level up to 90 days past the end of a fiscal quarter. After this time, distribution changes are considered to be late and must be made through a request to the Office of the Vice President for Finance (VPF) as a late salary distribution request.

Late salary distribution changes can be requested by the Principal Investigator using the Quick Base Late Salary Distribution Change Request app.  These transfers are subject to review by Chemistry HQ and will be submitted to the VPF for additional review and approval only when the PI’s justification is sufficient to determine that these costs are allowable.

Account Authorization Requests can be made via Quick Base to ensure that all research and administrative personnel are able to access applications that are dependent upon their roles authorizations. Current authorizations can be viewed in the Roles Database.
