Laboratory Instruments and Electronics Service

Departmental instruments and electronics that can be serviced include but are not limited to the following:

1. Laboratory equipment 
   Laboratory instruments such as glove boxes, incubators, freezer vacuum pumps, ovens, etc.
2. Analytical instruments 
   UV-VIS spectrometers, IR and FT-IR spectrometers, polarimeters, gas and liquid chromatographs, mass spectrometers (GC/MS, LC/MS, TOFMS, FT-MS), EPR, NMR, etc.
3. Test instruments and fabricated electronics
   Multimeters, oscilloscopes, amplifiers, function generators, signal conditioners, power supplies, electronic circuitry designs, etc.
4. Lasers and optical instruments  
   Lasers, laser power supplies, delay boxes, choppers, detectors, imagers, plate readers, microscopes, etc.
5. Instrument workstations and peripherals

Principle, diagnosis, and repairing of chemistry laboratory instruments
A short term IAP course designed for graduate students and postdocs is in development.  This course will cover principles behind and diagnosis and repair of common laboratory instrumentation.
