Chemistry Human Resources Administrator named the recipient of the 2022 MIT Excellence Award in the category of Outstanding Contributor.

Chemistry Human Resources Administrator Michele Harris has been named the recipient of the 2022 MIT Excellence Award in category of Outstanding Contributor. The award recognizes Michele’s many contributions to the department, especially her dedication, creativity, resourcefulness, and commitment to excellence. She will receive the award at a community-wide celebration on Thursday, June 9 from 3-4 pm.

Michele has been an integral member of the Department of Chemistry Headquarters staff since joining MIT in 2011. She was also recognized with an Infinite Mile Award from the School of Science in 2014 and a School of Science COVID-19 Hero Award in 2020.

The MIT Excellence Awards + Collier Medal acknowledge the extraordinary efforts made by members of our community toward fulfilling the goals, values, and mission of the Institute.
