Georgia Voyiatzis Promoted to Financial Administrator 2
Voyiatzis joined the Department of Chemistry in 2025.
Georgia Voyiatzis has been promoted from Research Administration Coordinator to Financial Administrator 2 in the Department of Chemistry.
Georgia began her career at MIT as an Area Assistant in the Department of Architecture in 2024 and joined Chemistry’s Finance team last year, September 2025. Since then, she has supported a range of pre- and post-award research administration activities while also developing internal financial tools and processes that have strengthened the team’s efficiency and compliance efforts.
During her time in Chemistry, Georgia has distinguished herself through her dedication, teamwork, initiative, financial management skills, and strong commitment to fiscal responsibility. She consistently provides thoughtful, high-quality support to our research community and has developed valuable resources for the Finance team.
