Emily Wensberg and Chris Kriofske Promoted to Fiscal Officer
Emily joined the Department of Chemistry in 2019; Chris joined in 2022.
Emily Wensberg and Chris Kriofske have been promoted from Financial Coordinators to Fiscal Officers in the Department of Chemistry.
Emily Wensberg started her career in Chemistry in 2019 as an administrative assistant providing faculty with administrative and financial support. She joined the Chemistry Finance team as Financial Coordinator in 2022 and has since been involved with pre-and post-award sponsored research administration activities.
Chris Kriofske has been an integral part of Chemistry Finance team since joining the department in 2022 as a Financial Assistant II. Chris was promoted to Financial Coordinator in 2023. Earlier this year, he took the lead on pre-award proposal submissions for the team.
In an announcement to the department, Richard J. Wilk, Director, Administration and Finance, shared, “Emily and Chris have demonstrated their dedication, teamwork, initiative, financial management skills and strong commitment to fiscal responsibility. They have consistently provided quality support for sponsored research administration.”
