Chemistry Department Welcomes Dr. Sarah Hewett to its Staff
Sarah joins the department as a Technical Instructor in the Undergraduate Teaching Laboratory.
The Department of Chemistry is pleased to welcome Dr. Sarah Hewett to the staff as the Technical Instructor in the Undergraduate Teaching Laboratory.
Sarah received her Ph.D. in Chemical Education from Purdue University, where she worked with Purdue IT personnel and Chemistry department faculty to design and implement digital badges across the chemistry laboratory curriculum. Prior to joining MIT, Sarah worked as a Lecturer of Chemistry at Salisbury University, where she taught introductory chemistry and organic chemistry laboratory courses and served on the departmental assessment and reporting committee to assist with improving assessment of student laboratory skills.
