The goal of purchasing these instruments is to have the equipment available to all the students who study in the Undergraduate Teaching Laboratory (UGTL). We meet our objective by opening up the equipment to both chemistry majors and non-majors. The goal of these installations is to empower students by adding efficient new technologies. In every semester, students from various departments, carry out experiments in the UGTL. They study and discuss across different fields. The evidence of their potent discussions is found on white boards in the lab on any given day. In many ways, these bench top instruments spark their creativity and help fortify their theoretical understanding.
