  • Digital Presence & Strategy: I manage all  aspects of the departmental website, from technical maintenance and developer coordination, to photography and fresh content updates.
  • Social Media & Outreach: As our department’s internet voice, I drive our social media channels and collaborate with our Development Officer Corrie Lefebvre and the Alumni Association to highlight our community during MIT Giving Day.
  • News & Editorial Leadership: As the primary liaison to the MIT News Office, I pitch high-impact research, write original articles on departmental achievements, and celebrate our community’s awards.
  • Community Communications: Producing and publishing the department’s monthly newsletters (Chemformation and the Department Head Update) are my responsibility. I also compile the department’s annual Report to the President, oversee the Mentorship Spotlight Awards, and maintain and update the departmental digital display screens.
  • Brand & Identity: As the lead contact for MIT branding and logos, I design and distribute departmental brochures, one-pagers, and promotional SWAG.
