Tyler Brezler Promoted to Financial Administrator of Sponsored Activity

Tyler Brezler has been promoted from Assistant Financial Administrator to Financial Administrator of Sponsored Activity for the Department of Chemistry.

Tyler joined the department in 2003, when he was hired as an Administrative Assistant to Professors Rick Danheiser, Mohammad Movassaghi, and Jeremiah Johnson. In 2016, he made the transition to Chemistry Headquarters and accepted the position of sponsored research Financial Coordinator. He was promoted to Assistant Financial Administrator in 2017. In his new role as Financial Administrator, Tyler will continue to work on the submission of sponsored research proposals, as well as continue his efforts in identifying and developing process improvement projects on the Finance Team. 

Tyler’s commitment to improving processes not only within the department, but MIT as a whole, has made him an invaluable asset to the Department of Chemistry.
