Department of Chemistry welcomes Rick Kayser to its Staff

Rick joins the Department of Chemistry as its Environment, Health and Safety Coordinator.
The Department of Chemistry is pleased to welcome Rick Kayser to the staff as its Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) Coordinator.
Kayser joins the Department of Chemistry from the Department of Earth, Atmospheric and Planetary Sciences (EAPS), where he served as a Research Specialist since 1996. He has 20 years of EHS experience as one of the early members of the EHS representative program working in EAPS. Kayser has worked closely with the MIT EHS Office on EAPS laboratory renovation projects and developing mitigation procedures for hazardous laboratory operations.
