This year, the annual Department of Chemistry Holiday Party will be a virtually festive affair co-hosted by CADI, CGSC and the Department of Chemistry alongside sponsors WIC and ChemREFS.
All members of the Department are invited to participate in the event, and join in via Zoom on Thursday December 17th beginning at 6:30 PM EST for an evening of holiday fun, including trivia, karaoke, and more!
Whether or not you are able to make the Zoom call itself, you can participate in the event through our Spotlights and Contests.

Contest Entry Submissions must be received by Monday, December 14 in order to be considered.
All who RSVP by December 16 will automatically be entered into a raffle for one of seven $25 Amazon gift cards.
Spotlights and Contests
The Spotlights will allow people to submit recipes, photos and/or personal or cultural stories in advance, which will be advertised in the event and through a post-event email. Whether or not you can make the Zoom call, you can still participate in the event through the Spotlight and contests!
The Ugly Sweater Contest and Zoom Background Contest are a great way to participate whether near or afar. Submit your entries for a Spotlight and/or the contests via this Google Form.
Live Activities
Live Zoom activities include Karaoke, Trivia, Among Us, and Arts and Crafts. RSVP for those activities via this Google Form.

Arts and Crafts
People working on campus can pick up their craft kit on the 5th floor of Bldg. 18 on Tuesday, December 15 or Wednesday, December 16 from 9 am to 9 pm. We ask that anyone picking up a kit use the provided hand sanitizer and ethanol and conform to MIT’s COVID guidelines.
