Fall Teaching Preference Form

Please complete the form below to indicate your ranked preferences for your Fall Teaching Assignment. You are required to list your top 3 choices but we recommend including a total of five choices.  Please submit this form no later than Monday, June 3rd.

We will try to honor as many requests as possible, but due to enrollment needs, we cannot grant all requests.

The lab modules listed below are unique in both scheduling and content. Students typically teach 1 lab module during the term and there are 1 or 2 students assigned to each lab module (depending on class size). Each lab module runs for approximately 1/3 of the term and students typically teach both the Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday sections during that time period. 5.111 Principles of Chemical Science
5.07 Introduction to Biological [Typically 2-4 slots available]
5.12 Organic Chemistry I
5.13 Organic Chemistry II
5.601/5.602   Thermodynamics I (first half of term) & Thermodynamics II and Kinetics (second half of term), students will teach both halves [Typically 4 slots available]
5.611/5.612    Introduction to Spectroscopy (first half of term) & Electronic Structure of Molecules (second half of term), students will teach both halves  [Typically 1-2 slots available]

5.310 Laboratory Chemistry (for non-majors)
5.351 Fundamentals of Spectroscopy (Lab Module 1)
5.352 Synthesis of Coordination Compound and Kinetics (Lab Module 2)
5.363  Organic Structure Determination (Lab Module 6)
5.372  Chemistry of Renewable Energy (Lab Module 8)
5.373  Synthesis of Boron Heterocycles (Lab Module 9)
