Tyler Brezler Named Financial Officer
Tyler joined the Department of Chemistry in 2003 and has been a vital member of Chemistry Headquarters since 2016.
Tyler Brezler has been named Financial Officer, effective March 1, 2019. Tyler has been a key member of Chemistry Headquarters since joining the Chemistry Finance Team as its Financial Coordinator in 2016.
In his new role, Tyler will continue to be responsible for coordinating the preparation, review, and submission of budgets and grant proposals for sponsored research, and assisting with the department’s annual budget submission and fiscal year-end closing procedures, as well as innovating projects for process improvement.
The Department of Chemistry continues to be grateful to Tyler for all he has contributed and continues to contribute to Chemistry Headquarters and MIT as a whole.
