Michele Harris Promoted to Human Resources Administrator
Michele joined the department in 2011.
Michele Harris has been promoted from Human Resources Coordinator to Human Resources Administrator for the Department of Chemistry.
Michele joined the department in 2011, in the role of Senior Administrative Assistant to then Department Head Sylvia Ceyer. In 2013, Michele transitioned to the department’s Human Resources division, and was promoted to Human Resources Coordinator in 2014. In her new role as Human Resources Administrator for the Department of Chemistry, Michele will continue her Human Resources activities, which include, but are not limited to, liaising with the International Scholars and Students Offices to coordinate work authorization for the department’s international postdoc population, working to recruit, onboard, and develop the performances of the department’s faculty, staff, and postdoctoral researchers, and oversee much of the department’s collection of vital confidential information.
The Department of Chemistry continues to benefit from and be grateful for all of Michele’s commendable contributions.
