Categories: Awards, Staff

Infinite Mile Awards are given annually by the School of Science in recognition of exceptional staff members.

Madavin Vong, the Chemistry Education Office’s Undergraduate Academic Services Coordinator, has been selected as a recipient of a 2024 Infinite Mile Awards from the School of Science.

Given annually, Infinite Mile Awards are given to staff members who go the extra mile and beyond to make MIT a better place. The winners are selected from a pool of outstanding researchers and staff who were nominated for their exceptional contributions to the community.

Vong, who joined the Chemistry Department staff  in 2022, was chosen to receive this honor as a result of her enthusiastic dedication to the students and the Department of Chemistry as a whole. She can alway be relied upon to lend a helping hand, and navigates unexpected curveballs with aplomb. She always steps into situations with an extremely positive attitude that is refreshing and infectious.

Infinite Mile Award recipients will receive a monetary award in addition to being honored at a celebratory reception later this spring.
